7pm, Dec 21, 2024
Hamilton Artists Inc., Hamilton, ON, Canada
PRESS RELEASE
Dandelion Film Collective presents Aide-Mémoire, Lilan Yang's debut solo screening in Canada that delves into the themes of memory, perception and our relationships with people, places and passage of time. Featuring a curated selection of innovative films in both digital and analog formats, the program traverses multiple landscapes, from the streets of Paris to the expansive American West, from urban centers to desolate deserts. Accompanied by original scores from musicians Julian Tran, Lori Goldston, and Dave Abramson, Aide-Mémoire examines how memories are constructed, transformed, and ultimately preserved through technological and artistic interventions.
